About Penn West Tree Service in Hermitage, PA

Family-owned since 1997

Penn West Tree Service, Inc. is owned and operated by Cassandra and Joshua Shuttleworth. With more than 50 years of combined experience, we are the tree company you can trust to safely and efficiently remove all of your hazardous trees and tree limbs — and we have built a reputation throughout the community for outstanding customer satisfaction.

Our owner, Josh Shuttleworth, is on-site for every project, and he and his team are well known for providing personalized, friendly customer service. We are fully licensed and insured, offer 24/7 emergency service, and will leave your property in the same or better condition than it was when we arrived.

We are based in Hermitage, PA, and we work across Mercer County and roughly 25 miles out — New Castle, Greenville, Sandy Lake, Brookfield, and the surrounding Lawrence, Butler, and Crawford County communities.

How we work

Tree work is heavy and sometimes dangerous, and it only goes well when it is planned. Every job starts with a free on-site estimate — and our estimates are binding for one year, so the price we quote is the price you pay. We even give you a reminder call the night before a job, so there are never any surprises.
